Thank you! Thank you to the pioneers, the PSA Pros for signing up for the first Maspeth Squash Open, brought to you by Maspeth Welding, NY Squash, PSA Mohamed Nabil, Arnie Dratt, and Friends of Maspeth Squash.
Thanks to Jeff Anschlowar, President of Maspeth Welding and creator of the steel court with Robert Gibralter, Vera Galvez - Head of Operations and the staff at Maspeth Welding, the PSA World Tour, US Squash, the Squash and Education Alliance, New York Squash, and Rob Mackay and the Queens Tourism Council.
Like none other. This tournament in Maspeth will be like none before - outdoors in Queens NY, on the only steel court in the world. Hundreds of pros have been making their way to Maspeth these past three years. We can’t wait to host an official PSA World Tour event.
Conditions. There will be sun, wind, clouds, butterflies, birds chirping, planes flying over, rain delays, fresh coffee roasting aromas, music, food, welding, and grinding steel noises, breezes, fans, friends, cheers, oohs and ahhs, and so much more. The surprises will challenge and excite.
